Before you start

Lay out all parts on a clean, padded surface and confirm the parts list against the packing slip. Pre-stage cabinets in install sequence (corner first), and pre-locate studs on the wall layout. The cabinets below are designed to assemble with hand tools alone in 9–10 minutes per box.

By Cabinet Type

Four core assembly procedures

The base, wall, and corner-base units cover roughly 90% of a typical kitchen install. Here’s the tools, sequence and time you need for each.

Base Cabinet Assembly

Tools: Screwdriver, rubber mallet, level · Time: ~10 minutes

The foundation of the kitchen layout. Connect the plywood box, set the back panel into the captured groove, install the dovetail drawer box on the soft-close slides, then mount the door. Square the box to the frame before tightening cam-locks.

Wall Cabinet Assembly

Tools: Screwdriver, drill, level · Time: ~10 minutes

Wall cabinets demand precise alignment during both assembly and installation. Connect the birch hardwood frame, attach the door hinges and adjust the soft-close hardware so the door closes flush with no reveal drift.

Corner Base Cabinet Assembly

Tools: Screwdriver, rubber mallet, level · Time: ~9 minutes

One of the more complex units to assemble — but with the right sequence they go together cleanly. Build the frame, set the corner shelves, then install the soft-close hinges. Confirm the lazy-susan or blind-corner geometry before final fastening.

Corner Base Cabinet Installation

Tools: Drill, level, shims · Time: ~10 minutes

Position the corner first, level it in both axes, fit the toe kick, then anchor to the wall. Align adjacent cabinets to the corner box; this prevents the cumulative error that creates door-reveal drift across long runs.

General sequence for any Lighthouse cabinet

  1. Stage the parts

Confirm parts against the packing list. Identify the four box panels, back panel, shelves, hinges, slides and drawer box.

  2. Build the box

Join the box panels with the supplied cam-locks or screws, then drop the back panel into its groove and fasten. Square the box before final tightening.

  3. Install drawer slides and box

Mount the soft-close slides at the marked screw locations. Slide the dovetail drawer box in until the slide engages, then test the soft-close action.

  4. Hang doors and adjust hinges

Mount soft-close hinges to the door, clip onto the cabinet plate, then use the six-way adjustment to align reveal, height and depth before closing the test action.

  5. Set shelves and finish

Insert shelf pins at the desired height and drop in the full-depth plywood shelves. Install pulls or knobs last, after final adjustment.
