KIMOTO Premium Sushi is committed to ensuring digital accessibility and a welcoming in-restaurant experience for people of all abilities.

Our Commitment
We believe that a great meal and a great website should be accessible to every guest — whatever their physical, sensory, cognitive, or technological needs. This Accessibility Statement describes the steps we've taken, where we still have work to do, and how to reach us with feedback.
Website Accessibility Standards
This website was designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA in mind. Specifically, we aim to meet the following criteria across the site:
- Perceivable: text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, and content that adapts to smaller screens and larger text sizes.
- Operable: all functionality available via keyboard, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Understandable: plain-English navigation, consistent page layout, and clear labels on form fields.
- Robust: semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo), and compatibility with current assistive technologies.
Features We've Built In
- Semantic page structure with one H1 per page and a logical heading hierarchy.
- Descriptive alt text on every non-decorative image.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus rings.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA thresholds for body text and interactive elements.
- Responsive layout that scales to mobile, tablet, and desktop without loss of functionality.
- Font sizes that can be zoomed to 200% without clipping or overlapping text.
- Reduced-motion support — animations are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion.
In-Restaurant Accessibility
- Step-free entry to the dining room and restrooms.
- Wheelchair-accessible tables with room to maneuver on arrival.
- Service animals are welcome in all dining areas.
- Large-print menus are available on request — please ask your server.
- Allergen accommodations for shellfish, gluten, soy, sesame, egg, and dairy when possible. Let us know as far in advance as you can.
- Quiet seating is available in the semi-private dining area; please note this preference when you reserve.
Known Limitations
While we work toward full compliance, the following items are on our roadmap:
- Some third-party embedded content (reservation and ordering partners) may not fully match our accessibility standards. We monitor their updates and provide alternative ways to book and order (phone, in person).
- Some older photographs in our gallery may lack detailed descriptive captions. We're adding these as we refresh the library.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website has been tested with the following combinations:
- VoiceOver (macOS & iOS) with Safari.
- TalkBack (Android) with Chrome.
- NVDA and JAWS (Windows) with Chrome and Firefox.
- Voice Control (macOS / iOS) for keyboard-free navigation.

Continuous Improvement
Digital accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review our website against WCAG 2.1 AA regularly and update this statement as the site evolves.
